What makes Acai purple? Anthocyanins! What are Anthocyanins? Anthocyanins are a class of bioflavonoid
that form the dark red to purple and blue-black pigments found in certain plants and flowers. It comes from two Greek words
that mean purple flower.
Anthocyanins are power antioxidants which are free radical fighters. They also absorb radiation, including
(UV) light. Acai has one of the highest levels of Anthocyanins of any known plant. Many have used Acai for it anti-aging nutrients.
Certain anthocyanins have been studied for their effect on obesity. Their ability to control blood sugar spikes

Potassium is the most abundant mineral in Acai.
Calcium is the second must abundant mineral in Acai.
Acai is also rich in magnesium.
Other minerals in Acai are phosphorus, copper, manganese, zinc, and boron, which are all used in natural calcium
formulas for the structural system.
